Hultafors has great cutting tools - knives and hatchets. Let's have a look on a trekking axe which head weights 0.8 kilograms.

hickory wood handle / 800 grams / 28.22 oz approx. 43€ (48$) in the EU / but 120$ on amazon
... as I have checked amazon and the shops I bought from, in Europe these tools I am reviewing are much cheaper than in the US. But I guess there is for sure local US producer of similar quality, just the brand is different. If you know of similar quality product in the US, which comes in less than 50$, write me a comment about it.

Hi mate nice vid. Question. Do you know the kind of metal it is? Can it destroy concrete without problems? Can drive nails without problems?

Hi Ninja. Unfortunately I do not know the kind of metal. If you mean the back blunt side of the axe, then yes - you can use it as a hammer.

Thanks. I prefer tarp. I am lazy to carry a tent and I build self made shelter only if I was staying in one place for longer time and a bit too far from the civilization and somewhere hidden, so no people would be visiting the shelter. What is your preference?
