I was just 12 years old when i saw rani begum .that was i think 1974 or five. At fortress stadium lahore every year awami mela by the govt set up and film industry also came there for performance . all the film industry artists were brought to the stadium in two buses i saw rani behum sitting in bus while great actor mihammad ali was standing at the door of the bus wearing shalwar qameez. I cant explain u the beauty of rani and innocence on her face .

Absolutely very bindaas ahead of her time.Liberated and bold.She broke all records with anjuman wow very sexy outfit and runa ne tou chaar chand laga diya apne gaane ke jaadu se.Even umra and tehzeeb mind blowing.I was 14 or 15 and later 17 rani shook me and many other with her dance movement. She brought revoltion with her outfit and hairdos which was copied later but didnot fit the bill.She was only actress golden vlonde hair suited after saira baanu in purab aur panchib of bollywood not forgetting helen.Oh my god helen was outrageous and kept theatres filled.50 years of memories.
