This graveyard had a little bit of everything. Newer,graves, exposed bones, bones in the vault with many bones in it, and readable, OLD gravestones. I really like those headstones with the angels, crucifixes, and all the other fine details. Just amazing and have stood the test of time. Thank you for another great video as always and God bless you both.

Hey Grave Visitations. Coming from America. Missouri in particular. Amazing great videos. You and Serenity Sue make the best videos. When you visited the Kennedy grave. I wondered if those Kennedy's have any connections to the Kennedy's here in the states. Mainly with John F. Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy. You and Serenity Sue are the best at what you do. Keep up the great work you guys. I love watching you guys.

I may be similar to what they do in France. The vault holds one or two coffins, when room is needed for another coffin the previous occupants are moved out of the coffins and put down the back to make room for the latest coffin. They allow at least a year for the body to be skeletonised before moving the bones. If the space is needed before the year is completed, the cemetary has temporary storage areas which can be used for the fresh body until the old one can be moved. That way dozens of people can be in the one vault, all of the same family in together.

I second everyone's comments about this, I was going to say the same thing. This practice is also done in some parts of Asia. It isn't meant to be disrespectful, but simply a practical solution to an ongoing need for burying people in a limited amount of space.

Elizabeth Porter looked like a nice lady and Doggo Porter looked sooo adorable and fluffy. The stray bones are rather disconcerting but that first crypt that was pretending to be catacombs, that one really irked me. I would love to learn appropriate crafts so I could go to grave yards and save the history whilst giving these somebodies their dignity back and re-situating their bits in a courteous manner as I find it so tremendously sad when their plots fall by the wayside and they have had visitors for time. My only family member whom is buried in a place known to me is our Bert and I am eternally thankful to the gardners of St Charles De Percy War Cemetery (CWGC) who have cared for our lad for nigh on 80 years now. One day I hope to visit him and more importantly I hope to preserve others somebodies for the day their families rediscover them.

I wonder if they were doing what is done in some Cemeterys in the US. Example : in Louisiana, family vaults they place the deceased inside for 1 year and 1 day. When the next family member dies, they take the bones and push them to the back of the crypt. So if we were to look inside... There is literally piles of multiple peoples bones, piled together in one place. Just a thought 💭.

Considering the fallen over stones and some other things, could this have been abandoned a while and foxes, badgers, or hares dug burrows into the graves and chucked the bones out? Then the cemetery was cleaned up, holes filled, etc, but those bones were missed to be picked up, or superstition had no one wanting to touch them.Here in the US we have groundhogs. I remember hearing about an abandoned cemetery that was totally overgrown where groundhogs had dug burrows and kicked out bones and coffin hardware. There was one with a lower jaw of a person just sitting right out there by a hole.
@jmpet71346 ай бұрын
That was a very odd design for a vault. It looks very long from the outside but seems smaller inside. Having a mini vault inside with only room for one coffin is odd too. Without the mini vault they could have had numerous shelves. We will never know.
