I have dabbled with looking into human design… I think it’s fascinating… and I also have been studying astrology. I found a human design that uses sidereal/Vedic and it gave me a totally different profile. And… I truly feel the with the Vedic chart it calculated me as a 2/4 which fits way more than a 5/1 from the western astrology. Just throughout this out there to anyone who might want to check that out. 💚💗

I've recently been delving deeply into sidereal astrology and have wondered how accurate our Human Design charts are when traditionally they're computed using the Tropical astrology configurations. I just looked up my HD chart using sidereal computation and, as suspected, it's a radically different (and extremely resonant) description of who I am. This different chart is offering an understanding of a life I've felt estranged from for very long. I've always felt my life was off, tangled, unnecessarily complicated and disconnected from what felt right. Feels like I'm coming home after a long, arduous, tumultuous, chaotic journey. You helped me connect the puzzle piece that's been missing for over 45 years. I'm very grateful for the time you took to share your commentary. I feel like I finally crossed a steep and treacherous river, exhausted and depleted but grateful for arriving.

This is so much easier to understand. Thank you! I'm a newbie at this, but it's surprising to me that one can be a Projector (which I am), but also possible to have a defined ego center (which I don't). Trying to understand this seeming contradiction! I have tended to judge egotistical people, I think out of woundedness, not feeling recognized, myself. Thanks for helping me to see that we all have different "job descriptions", and a defined ego is a legitimate path!

The way I’ve understood it is that your conditioning influences your behaviors. This may make it seem like you’re not behaving the way your chart suggests. Tanking a deep dive into your past, (childhood) can be very enlightening. A reading would definitely be a great way to understand more.

I have an open G Center. I also know who I am and possess a strong sense of self. I am also s chameleon. Whatever identity I possess is the result of a more conscious choice than those with defined G Centers. I am also able to temporarily set my identity aside as and when needed, to the extent needed, in favor of adopting the energies of others. Because I am not "stuck" being me, I can "put on" another's experience almost like clothing. It helps me speak the other person's language in ways a defined G may never experience for themselves. Am open G is the greatest tool for human investigation, and therefore for manipulation, in human design. The thing is I feel no drive to manipulate others, but I recognize it without fail and am exceptionally well trained to resist it.

The "picking up on other people's concepts" part is soooo true for me (undefined Ajna). There were so many times for me when i was listening to some spiritual video, taking in concepts and then i think about the ideas introduced in the video during the day, i just let it sit in my mind and i find another video some weeks or months later that confirms what i was thinking about those concepts is also how the people who introduced those concepts think. For example how i was introduced to the Ahimsa principle in hinduism and thought that it probably should be considered the most important principle from the yamas and niyamas and some time later i found a vid that said indeed it's an umbrella principle for the rest of yamas and niyamas. Stuff like this happened so many times i lost count :D

This was very helpful, thank you! From my chart I have a defined ego center, and in theory I have gate 26 open (from personality), but I see myself as the opposite. Any idea why that could be? The rest fits. The birth hour might not be right. However I change it though, I still get a defined ego center.

It encouraged me to go further and not leave human design exploration as I have before. In that case you just have a defined throat, and you could look at the characteristics of that channel you have defined, as it will color your actions and voice.

As dissapointing as it can be, the answer is that they dont have a clear logic. it was those colors that were transmitted to Ra, but there was no explanation as to why.

the shadow of the undefined ego can want to prove themselves and become "something", thats the not self signature. in a way, all the not self themes of all the center are trying to "impersonate" the defined center, but they dont have the juice to do so consistently.

Okay, so this is weird. I am a generator with a defined root-throat center and spleen. In the video, you said only manifestors typically have the throat center defined. So, what does that mean?

so you are a manifesting generator, because you have a motor (root, sacral, solar plexus or ego) connected, directly or indirectly, to the throat.

Well the MG likes to hop from one thing to the next, its a natural thing for you guys. Then you might end up coming back later and finishing what you started. Think tortoise and the hare story, G is the turtle, MG is the hare.

Hello, I have a few basic questions about human design... maybe you can answer it for me? How are the charts created? So is this a computer system? Or can you create the charts freehand? Or how does that work? What is the difference between the HDS and the Sydrian hds and what is the multidimensional hds And gene-keys ? Now which one is the right one? i have a chart of the sydrian hds and the ra hds...but they are fundamentally different...why? I'm very confused ... I would be very happy about an answer ... you might be able to create charts freehand if you check the Ephemerides but it would be a lot of work. Personally i only use traditional, tropical charts. I havent found richness or resonance in sidereal and other chart making methods.

You do have these potentials within you regardless if the center is defined or not (the gene keys go deeper into it). However you might find them to be inconsistent or unstable if they are in an undefined center.

Yes, tho it takes a lot of fine tunning (the mind always wants to interfere). It's also more useful as a tool that says "NO! danger!" than as a "YES" tool.
