The Human Engineer is underrated and underestimated.This is by far one of the strongest and most enjoyable characters to play and I recommend trying her out because she is a BEAST! Dude, I built my human engineer with this guide. You were not kidding, this shit IS insane. Anyone else reading this, take Hulks word for it, this stuff is crazy crazy powerful. In ME3mp, I always found engineers to be underwhelming, but in ME:A mp, this little bastard is unbelievable! My only gripe really is that overload has a long recharge, but holy crap on a cardboard box!!!! When that overload goes, everything else is like "did you see the license plate on the fucking truck that hit me?!" One more thing: I noticed in your guide that you tend not to charge the overload, a charged burst really makes it all the more fun!

So glad you did this! My favorite kit post patch! I completely agree with radius and snap freeze on cryo beam. Get radius on all passives and just own.

At 7:36 you said "Tech Power AMP. k. It's gonna increase the damage of your tech combos for sure" - sadly that's not fully true. Power Damage and Combo Damage are two different formulas. Combo Damage & Radius can only be increased via skills. If you use a Power Amp, it will only boost your power's damage BEFORE the biotic explosion happens. And thanks again for the build :)

The engineer was one of my favorite to play in ME 3 and was disapointed when I started to play with it in Andromeda, her powers were so weak and now you made me wanna try it out again as you're havong incredible results with this built. THANKS !!

FYI causing a Cryo Explosion does not cause a Snap Freeze. It causes a Cryo Explosion instead.

Nice builds man. Have try with the M-25 Hornet? After 1.06 patch, this gun achieved a substantial damage improvement and used it as a medium / long range weapon. Hurricane + Hornet can be a great smg combo I think.

I used the same build for the cryo beam except for the turret. I only took the turret up rank 5 or the omni link recharge. Ranked up to 6 on support systems. I have been taking my human engineer through platinum with a scattershot. If I am on firebase zero I usually score first place. Damn cryo debuff and snap freeze wrecks. Even the hydra, berserker or behemoth drop dead faster. Shielded enemies is a problem sometimes, but the radius helps a lot by affecting the non shielded enemies due to the radius. So if they bunch up, as long as there's a health grunt or armored enemy I still cause some cryo debuff or explosions.

Gotta say as far as priming goes PAW is king. QUicker then shadow but a bit less damage. I find it much easier to aim and since you dont have to zoom in so its easier to see everything around u.

of course this build would be wonderful if the assault turret's cryo ammo wasn't bugged. it only works for me if I am the host. otherwise it never shoots cryo ammo.

OOoooh! Saw something on reddit that using overload to combo on a snap freezed target actually negates the snap freeze damage. If they are correct you will literaly do half the damage by comboing them rather then just shooting them to death. It seems a few different people have agreed on this. I would love to hear what you think. Maybe just try a game without using overload to detonate and see if you see a difference. I know it seems crazy but if its true you could take some points out of overload to put into the passives. Just thought i would share as i started leveling this lady up yesterday so was super excited to see you had uploaded a vid. Sorry for the spam but my head just keeps spinning on this stuff. Its almost like bioware is trying to trick us! Initially you think that detonating chilled targets with overload would be the way to go bit it seems the opposite is true! By "priming" everything with overload and THEN blowing them up with snap freeze not only will you do the extra damage from snap freeze rather then a cryo explosion (roughly double the damage if the numbers are right) you will also be doing 35% more damage due to the passive that enhances elemental damage! This may mean that its worthwhile to actually max overload to chain to as many enemies as possible, therefore priming them for more elemental damage! Also rather then going for combo damage in passives it may be more beneficial to go for power damage itself since snap freeze explosions are not considered "combos" but rather a power(this needs further looking into but it makes sense, this way you get 20% more snap freeze damage as opposed to combo) Once again sorry for the spam but check this out and let me know what you think. LEAD with overload and switch passive to power damage to increase snap freeze explosion damage and let me know what ya think bud.

Dude the hornet is a monster if you go for headshots and it is viable on every kit. Give it a try, Im using it a lot after the patch.

Gabriele La Torre Yeah I like the weapon platform myself as well, was just curious on how the ammo priming worked with this build, seems like it would be per bullet since most smg platforms are single trigger pull guns, but idk. They weren't super forthcoming with the details of all the mechanics in this game upfront

My bad, I was talking about its killing power. The hornet fire is pretty fast, but if you want to prime as fast as possible better to go with the hurricane, the equalizer or the rozerad.

Help me out here - I tried duplicating this build on the male version of the human engineer but came up short a few points. I'm lv. 20, of course. I ended up having to skip rank 3 on Overload and rank 6 on Offensive Tech. Does the female get more points per level up or something?
