Hey, I know I'm late, but I thought I might as well give you the answer, lol. And it won't be helpful, though. Just think of it as a way that I'm revising what I studied today. So, basically, the reason we have two eyes instead of one is because with one eye, our field of view is 150°, but with two eyes, it increases up to 180°. So, having two eyes give us a better and a wider view of field, as well as the fact that both of our eyes sees completely different images, but it is our brain that combines the images and makes us think that we are seeing one big image. So, in summation, the reason we have two eyes is because our viewing field increases.
