What is the mechanism of the sensor? Bare wires with a strobe pattern? Magnetic current sense with insolated wires? other? It makes a deference as some methods are way to slow and interfere with each other.

Good questions...I'm not sure how it works either unless changing capacitance? But it looks like the conductors are touching everywhere.

Steps #2 and #4 seem disingenuous - as if they are set in scene to "generate video footage" but is not how it can be done in reality, 1:10 onwards. The soldering 1:33 is fake af. A missed opportunity, imo.
