Water. It's an essential building block of life, constantly moving in a hydrologic cycle that flows in a continuous loop above, across and even below the Earth's surface. But water is also constantly moving through another cycle -- the human water cycle -- that powers our homes, hydrates our bodies, irrigates our crops and processes our waste. The tight connection between water, food and energy makes them dependent on one another.
Our increasing need for these three vital resources is forcing us to rethink how we manage and use our water supply. The National Science Foundation (NSF) has joined with NBC Learn, the educational arm of NBC News, to release a four-part video series, the "Human Water Cycle," that explores the connection between water, food and energy.
Wastewater is what gets flushed down the toilet, rinsed down the drain, and produced by places such as factories, workplaces, and homes. Kartik Chandran at Columbia University is changing the perception of wastewater by treating it more efficiently and creating energy from resources found in it.

Awesome change. Must be implemented right away. a gallon pooped water and 99 gallons to flush the pooped water. I remember when we had a 7 year of drought in California. We used the rule that we only flushed when there's poop. Wow, I didn't realize the ratio of pooped water to clean water. If we only practice this with or without drought, we can decrease the carbon footprint. I also realize how much energy we use when we flush the water all the time.

A properly run sewage treatment facility is barely noticeable to the inhabitants in the area. If you can smell the sewage plant in your area it's probably unhealthy and needs some TLC. In areas where strip mining has taken place, many sewage plants spread the sewage sludge over the ground. It improves the pH of the soil and adds valuable nutriants that help the ground cover grow.

Problem solved use this to purify sea water or sewage Cold Steam the efficient way to use the sun geothermal composting rocket stoves any heat source to produce electricity and or distilled water explained from basic concept to employment. Water boils in a vacuum at 75 F or 24 C Two open containers one full of water the other empty connect them at the bottom and water will reach an equilibrium 50 50. If one is sealed except for the connection the other will remain empty because of the vacuum created in the sealed container. Gravity will overcome this vacuum if the containers are taller than 34 feet. If the tanks are 40 feet tall the tanks will reach an equilibrium of water levels at 34 feet leaving six feet of hard vacuum in the sealed tank. This makes a vacuum pump set we need two of them if we were going to distill water as the cold side open tank is used to collect the distilled water from it as the continuous input of water needs to go somewhere. Each sealed tank has four valves three at the top two of those on opposite sides (B&C) one at the very top (D) one at the bottom on the side (A), water-based vacuum pump operations are, Close bottom tank valve A and top tank valve C. Open top tank valve D. Fill sealed tank through top side valve B. Close valve B and D when full. Open bottom valve A. This primes the system to let the warm water in that will vaporize and run through the system when you partially reopen valve B (to control flow rate) and open valve C to its fullest. For only power generation need one pump set and one vacuum tank so we can have a Hot side and a Cold side one to boil the water and one to have the low pressure/vacuum to draw the steam in through the turbine then the cooling coils then to the tank. At the bottom of the cold side, tank is a return pipe with the one way valve to the heat source the one-way valve prevents expansion back to the cold side and as the hot side vacuum chamber is the only outlet for the expanding water and it is drawn by the vacuum the cycle proceeds. You can combine the two and get power generation and distilled water keeping the return line from the power generation system will let you switch if you don't need distilled water on a continuous basis in large quantities. I am going to make one feel free to make one as well it is open source.

And in India, our maids keep tap open in full speed for 1 hour as an average to wash utensils. We wash our balconies, entrance floor with high speed water pipes instead of just cleaning by broom. Our maids and gaurds waste water on every day and nobody even thinks about it.

That’s why our water bills and taxes are usually high. Because these systems have been built to sustain the environment. We can complain all we want but if we don’t pay, these companies won’t maintain their systems and employees and you won’t get clean water either.
