I Made This Simple Beat In 10 Minutes on the OP-1 + SP404 Performance

The first 10 Minute Tuesday in about three months! I'm a little rusty, but I think it turned out alright. I had my girlfriend, Lauren, hang out with me while I made this one and it was nice to have someone in the room with me while I made this simple beat. This is the first time I've actually successfully used the Tombola sequencer on the OP-1 - after years of being afraid of it. I ran out of time to give the beat a little more texture, but the SP404 performance helped give the beat some life.

this sounds incredible. you have a lot of awesome sounds on your op-1, i feel like i always struggle right out of the gate because i'm not happy with the synth engines. excited to go try out tombola though :D

Thanks dude! I find that there’s a lot of decent presets if you either turn off their default LFO or FX or both. Then just a little fiddling with the knobs and boom! I’m still figuring out the best way to use the tombola but I think I’m getting it!
