humanism and Behaviouralism approach of geography, both opposed the Quantitative revolution and Positivism. However, Behaviouralism emphasized studying the dynamic relationship between humans and the environment and the subjective human decisions based on the concept of mental map. Humanism approach also emphasized studying human and environment relations but gave more focus to study the human conscience, values, action, and role of humans in the Human world( environment).

Another difference.... I think behavioral backlash not rejection of QR,it was modification of QR .IT CHALLENGED the purpose of geography against generalisation patterns of which it considers another level of distortion . Humanistic backlash was total rejection of positivism and QR ... Correct me if I'm wrong
