Humanist: Ethical Intuitive Introvert (EII or INFJ)

We all have met people with a great ability to listen and be supportive to the emotional experiences of the others. Such people also would willingly listen to your story and frequently would give an advice that satisfies everyone involved in the situation.
Talking about real life examples of this type among celebrities we can mention such people as Ralph Fiennes, Richard Gere and David Lynch. As always we can never be sure if the type has been determined correctly before we meet these people in person but there is very little we can do about it. And after all socionics is not about celebrities, it is about you, me and people around us. We just use people with celebrity status as examples while learning. I hope they do not mind.

I saw your videos referring to the personalities of my best friends. Very concise descriptions. I am glad I found this. I do have a request though: Could you do one on LSE and IEE? That would be great. Actually, doing all of them would be even better. ;) This way, I am convinced, everybody looking for some in-depth knowledge about his personality would be able to learn a great deal about himself. So interesting! I agree, if you want to convince me to rethink my opinion, using credible studies with statistics is the best way to do that. I also feel like personal experiences are very important to me, but credible studies with statistics will trump those experiences because I realize that my experiences may be the exception.

If EII isn't interested in other people's attitudes and complexities, then why are so many EIIs interested in personality? Do you think it's because they are only interested in understanding themselves, because I'm not really seeing that?

I'm just starting to learn about socionics. Can someone explain why the title calls infj for EII and ot IEI. I know an infj person might not be IEI, but in a general sense, it should, right?

Well, that is not true. A lot of MbTI typed INFP are IEIs while some of them are EIIs so yeah there is no fixed types correlations.

Socionics =/= MBTI. You can't convert types automatically 1:1 as you are suggesting. Enneagram is key in conversion (example: INTJ 5w6 tend to be LII, INTJ 5w4 tend to be ILI, ENTJ 8w7 tend to be SLE etc) plus definitions are different. As matter of fact a lot of MBTI INFJ are EII in socionics. Feel free to check the definitions of intratim types in Wikisocion and you'll notice that they tend to match the MBTI type with same j/p for most part (LII/INTj sounds like MBTI INTJ etc). Official MBTI assessment was built for business application and just tracks preferences in external dichotomies. Socionics is more concerned with info metabolism and socialization... They don't type the same exact things and they are meant to be treated as separate realms. I recommend you to use just socionics terms like L, LII etc when talking about socionics to avoid any confusion with MBTI.
