as the report stated, the US is controlling this pier with service men and sub contractors (among others) . too many reports of Israel not letting aid through , as well as videos of Israeli civilians destroying aid at the border crossings you mentioned. i'm against funding this "war" at all, but if we are going to do it, it must be within the confines of international humanitarian law. women and children should be protected despite the sins of Hamas.

because Hamas and the P I J group have been stealing , taking all of the aid from the trucks to give to their troops and yes there are cell phone pictures of them having done this repeatedly. Also, Egypt and Jordan refuse to open their borders , even to let a limited amount of refugees in because they don't want anything to do with Hamas.

LOL Send the bill $$$ to Hamas, they are living well off of the Palestinian's money from International charity organizations over the years. That is where they got the money to build their three hundred mile tunnels instead of for their own people.

Oh aid is being sent by ground too. Gaza is being flooded with aid by air, land and sea. The Palestinians loot the trucks according to NYT and they are still blaming Israel for a mythical famine.
