I hope the recently confirmed Mass Effect TV show follows the Manswell Expedition. Fun fact: The Manswell Expedition launched two years before Liara T'Soni was born.

Imagine turning up and finding out that everyone else got there first. This is the most likely situation for our real world colonists. Engine technology will move at such a pace making the second set of colonists arrive first.
