This concept of engineered symbiosis is very cool from a biological perspective. Microbial life is crazy and giving humanoids attributes of certain microbes would lead to basically superhumans. I'd recommend researching the structure and functions of a few microbes/microbial features, namely: - slime moulds (acellular, cell contents float around rather than being bound by cell walls, making it "flow" in pulses and move over time. But it can act like a solid mass, too.) - prokaryotic (single-celled) predators, e.g. Bdellovibro spp. Which are curved and attack other cells by effectively drilling a hole into them with their cell shape. - bacterial pilli (cell extensions used for various things - can be used to pierce other cells for predatory, defensive or reproductive purposes) - endospores, exospores, bacterial dormancy (reasons why some fungi and bacteria are so hardy, almost impossible to get rid of completely) - biofilms - microbial toxins - magnetotactic bacteria (literally got magnets in them) - plasmids (bits of DNA that bacteria pick up to help introduce variance into their genes. They float around in the environment, bacteria pick up and incorporate them. E.g. a bacteria could be vulnerable to an antibiotic, pick up a plasmid with a resistance gene for that antibiotic, that bacteria becomes resistant) + many more. Will love to see what you do with this concept, it's great!

Dude - great video, but could you slow down the speech a bit, there are segments which sound like they’re x2. Listen to the presenter of Astrum - he’s slow and clear. I think you could squeeze another two minutes outta this video

I think some symbiotic mushroom things should look like well known ones, or be like genus off of the same type. But they give bad/weird effects. - Like one that looks similar the eye enhancing one but it instead makes you have long teeth. - Or one that is like the temperature regulation one. But it makes you generate heat. Which is not exactly a bad thing cause you radiate it out keeping normal body temperature but heating everything around you, and maybe if it's like genus off of the original it could be something like Zralck Heatus-symbiont, and IDK if the temperature regulation thing already does this? but yeah I think there should be other symbiont types. cause mushrooms work the same way. Like one genus of mushroom has over 40 different variants. Some almost the same to the original, and some dramatically different.

Your world is so epic and your evolution of humans make me think of the videos of what the human will look like in...a forgot the name of the video or the two videos but in one of them , they were humans that could breathe in space thanks to a little potato body and in the other video humans that were litteraly blocks of meat. But here , it's a other types of evolutions that I like a lot

I was drawing a cyborg creature that has adapted to perform missions underwater, so I found this topic as an amazing inspiration source.
