This is what I'd do. Get a gas pressurized jetpack. Fly up to spaceship. Sneak into the ship. Take the fuel source leaving aliens with power. Fly back down and Take only the core. Edit into modern weapons 90% chance to explode. Adapt modern weapon to alien core. Sneak back into the ship and Take the fusion generator Create plasma. Blow up Mother ship.

Aliens wouldn’t even have to bat an eyelash if they wanted to destroy our solar system I’m sure there is governing groups around the universe. And their technology wouldn’t be powered by raw resources. Coal nor oil can travel far reaches in space. Clean energy like plasma or even using the universe against itself to propel the ship make our galaxy look like a small city and our solar systems are residential areas. We would never be at war with Aliens for millions of years cause we are not a threat. Why worry about a species that can’t make it to the next solar system when their are zillions of other species with capabilities our sci-fi movies haven’t even dreamt about. I bet our most powerful alien species in any movie wouldn’t even be a fly against some of the most advanced in our galaxy alone.

They're not gonna attempt a conquest unless they'd gotten over any fears. If they'd just crashed here and aren't hostile, then yeah, I'd say they'd be as scared as we'd be. It just depends.

Going guns blazing would be dum, and would cause our death. Now planning, less time but more chances living. planning takes out more of the other team with less death and perfect plannings if the plan goes perfect. planning is very smart than going guns blazing. so guerrilla fight as two options die or be smart and live. its doesn't matter about the tech it matters about how good everyone makes the plans and be's smart. Yes tech would be good but were talking about guerrilla war, not world war 2 Hitler making lots of tech shit! so guerrilla war is 50 50 for both sides winning.
