I really like Siddhant and think he’s a genuinely nice guy. But I was extremely taken aback by his comment of why he didnt do Bramastra and because his dad said he wouldnt be a leading hero or wouldnt be seen in the film?! I mean the film has Ranbir, Alia, Amitabh Bachan and even Shahrukh! And for his father to tell him not to do the film and he shouldnt sell himself short is shocking and quite honestly obnoxious. When you are a NOBODY you should be jumping to be cast in a film in such a huge star cast and under a banner. All of the biggest stars including Shahrukh, Amitabh bachan have done small roles when they first started. No one gets a “leading actor” role immediately! You have to work your way up. I mean after Gully Boy all his films have been flop. Sometimes you cant have that arrogance. Everyone starts from the bottom. And despite him giving a big hit he hasnt maintained it.
