Nice! I'm glad that the quality is improved. Funny thing is that I'm still using the same mic. Just I'm not also using Adobe Podcast to clean up the audio along with what I would do in Audacity. Good to know that it helps!

Good to know! I was never really certain because it sounded different, but people I had asked said it sounded better. Funny enough, I'm actually using the same mic. But I started using Adobe podcast to clean the audio up after I do my own cleanup in Audacity. Some sort of AI stuff...no idea how it works but I'm glad that it helps the quality!

Last Call BBS is the only game I wanted from the bundle, being a huge Zachtronics fan.

Guessing that wasn't enough to warrant you grabbing the bundle though? I've tried some of their games over the past but as I mentioned in the review...just can't get into them. When it comes to puzzles in games, I get to a point where I either get frustrated and quit. Or look up a guide. The happy medium in those kinds of games are hard to come by for me.

This month might just be the best one so far. 5 games on the wishlist, and then gunk, from space, and expeditions, which all seem playable or pretty good. NO skip or unredeemed game, whew!

Yeah, that's kind of how my wishlist works these days. I tend to go on a wishlist purge every 6 months or so to clean it up and decide if the games there are still things I really want to play. I end up cleaning up close to 100 things off the list every time I do it. Although my list is still at about 300 T_T

Nice! How has your experience been with their games? For me, I played Gothic when I was kid...and I think a bit of Gothic 2. I do own one or two of the Risen games but never tried them. On the other hand, my wife has played either Risen 1 or 2, and I remember her being very frustrated with it. There was some jaguar that kept killing her and she hated that fact that she needed to pay in order to unlock the ability to kick or something like that. Basically, it was a quick uninstall for her.

I was expecting a disaster month, but in the end it is a great month, only the three last games that are a bit whatever to me, but the others are all games I've wanted. Elex II probably the game I'll be the most happy with though. Thanks for the video and your insights!

@@StealthyshiroeanHumbleReviews Not at all, but I've played most Spiders game and I tend to like janky RPGs. The Gothic serie is on my "to do list". I hope to not be disappointed, I know those games are not for everyone.

@@froggedwolfgaming That's true. Hmm, I don't know enough about either developer to really say for certain if one is better than the other. I guess all I know for sure is that Spiders reach much more critical acclaim in recent years with Greedfall than Piranha Bytes has with the Elex series. Doesn't necessarily say much though. Either way, I hope you enjoy it jankiness and all lol

@@StealthyshiroeanHumbleReviews Yeh Spiders is maybe more recognized recently due to Steelrising and Greedfall but Piranha Bytes did Gothic which is a classic to a lot of people, I guess it depend how you see it. Thank you !

@@froggedwolfgaming That's true. I think when Gothic first came out though, their game design was a bit more accepted. Various design elements weren't quite as pinned down yet. And I think a certain amount of jank was okay. Heck, I think I remember the first Gothic not having any mouse support. Nowadays, I think a lot of people have higher expectations which is probably why Piranha Bytes games are where they're at now. That said, I still wouldn't mind going through them at some point (although that seems so laughable as if I'd have the time). Also, I know there was a remake of the original Gothic being made. Don't know if it's Piranha Byte though...

Hmm... Already finished Nobody Saves The World on Gamepass, I didn't enjoy Expedition - Vikings so Rome doesn't interest me, and Elex was a disappointing miss for me although open world RPGs are really my thing. So Elex 2 is another no go. The rest of the games seem like filler and if anything aren't worth the asking price. So I'll skip this one and buy Diablo IV... or Baldur's Gate 3... or Cyberpunk Ultimate Edition... oh the choices! Thanks for the review!

No problem! Glad I could help. Although, I will say if you're the least bit interested in Expeditions: Rome because of the fact that it's Rome then maybe look into it. I don't really know much but I had heard that it was an improvement over Vikings. But I suppose compared to the likes of Cyberpunk, Baldur's Gate 3, or Diablo IV...well, you'll be set lol

Thanks for the vid, for me it would be a skip, as only Pale beyond, and last call look like something I would want to check, but only if there was at least one game that would really look interesting to me apart from those two.

No problem! I definitely get that. Might be better just to snag those a la carte in a holiday sale if you really want to play them now. Hopefully going into next year will bring better games for you in the bundles.
