Tbh, I don't think that he should get the pay for fighting, because he didn't fight, but they should pay his expenses. There should also be a change to the standard contract in future so that the fighters get some guaranteed payment for showing up and making weight.

Im a 37 yo welsh guy outperforming the teenagers in my football club. I'm also obsessed with mma and have recently perfected throwing spinning back kicks over my sofa. 😂 37 yo me is much more athletic than 18 yo me.. You really don't need to pause n push off. Once your hips are fully rotated just thrusting that foot n hip back while kicking with the other foot generates more than enough power n doesn't take as long. Tenths of seconds matter
