That was fun. Quintessential Humble. Helped fill a couple of age induced memory holes on the chords . :)

On my crappie phone outside the tele looked blue but now I'm on my tablet and I can see it's brown and black. I love the midnight blue with black around the outside so maybe that's what I wanted to see, lol. Thanks. Peace 🕊️.

Great tunes by a great band. They sure made easy chords sound so powerful and Steve Marriott's voice was one of a kind.Thanks for showing me how to play the songs. Peace.

@@jbl5050 came by to get a refresher course and I spotted the yellow les Paul in the rack with P-90's I suppose? Epiphone has one for under$500 that I've been eyeing. Does it sound as good as it should?
@douglaschristine83872 ай бұрын
I just read your reply. Steve should've quit smoking and he would be an old man by now still playing and singing somewhere besides heaven's gates. It's a shame but the same thing happened to me, my friends picked me up drunk and threw me on the couch but I must've had a cigarette in my hand they didn't notice and I woke up smoldering but my leather coat and vest saved me from getting burned. I learned young in life that booze and cigarettes suck. Peace my friend. Have you put out any music lately.

I think Peter Frampton is the best songwriter in the world when it comes to writing low-tempo rock songs. Of course, he's also good at ballads.

I hope one day to get a tone as good as yours. Humble Pie is a wonderful choice. Best wishes to you, my friend!
@jbl50506 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for the view and nice comment especially on the tone. Humble Pie was such an awesome band. I've been working on a couple songs off their Smokin album but definitely no where near ready to try yet. So are you working on any new ones? Look forward to hearing if so. Take care friend...
@LeloCraveiro6 жыл бұрын
I'll post some songs soon, your Humble Pie video encouraged me to perhaps recall one of the songs on the Smokin 'album I've played a long time ago, the cover "C'mon Everybody." I will not get a tone as good as yours, but if I can remember all the passages of this theme I'll record and post! Take care !
@jbl50506 жыл бұрын
That's probably my favorite song on the album. Just some great guitar work thru the whole song. Are you playing thru an interface and a Guitar Rig type program?
@LeloCraveiro6 жыл бұрын
Yes, because I live in an apartment and I can not use my amplifier here. Lots of noise for the neighborhood. The solution was to use the guitar rig. I am not an expert in software but I get reasonable results. But it is not the same as being able to connect a good amplifier at a satisfactory volume and to be able to play in the most natural way.
@jbl50506 жыл бұрын
The reason I asked is because that's what I use also but instead of Guitar Rig I use the free version of Amplitube 3. I have a paid copy of Guitar Rig but could never get it to sound as good as the Amplitube 3. I have learned to get just about any tone I want out of it.

Hi there. First thanks for the views and leaving a nice comment. I have actually been working on The Ostrich on and off for a while now and probably need to go ahead and focusing on finishing it as I've had a couple other viewers ask for it. Thanks again and hope to get a new one up here soon.

Hi and thanks for the view and comment. I'm doing well thanks. Been taking a little break from doing videos as I've had a lot going on with family issues. Everything good now. Actually working on 4 or 5 new songs to get on here soon, I hope. I will definitely look into doing some more Humble Pie songs. Hello, congratulations on the channel, is your channel monetized? Can you monetize a channel with a guitar cover?
@jbl50504 жыл бұрын
Hi and thanks for the view and comment. It is monetized but sadly I don't make a penny on this channel due to playing copy written music. I just do it to keep my interest in playing up and the occasional comments which are at the most positive. If there is a way to make money other than say a Patreon account I would sure like to know as it still takes a lot of work to do these. Thanks again!
