YellowBee has kindly put together a kit for the first 3 formulations shared in this video! For under $55CAD (~41USD) you can get ALL the ingredients (minus the distilled water-pick that up at your local grocery store) to make 400g of each formulation + 6 bottles 😄 Check it out at yellowbee.ca/collections/product-starter-kit/products/starter-kit-niacinamide-serum Not sponsored, not affiliate.

So what I see: take the spray formula and add thickener and you get a simple serum. Take the serum and replace some water with oil part and emulsifier and you'll get a basic cream. Same ingredient, 3 formats

Thank you. Formula Botanica had a webinar a little while ago, which diminished my hesitation to formulate with niacinamide. I made a moisturizer that included niacinamide and alpha-arbutin to help with hyperpigmentation and am pleased with the results, so far.

Hello from South Africa. I love learning skincare from your channel and try out your recipes. Yesterday I made the "third formulation" face serum and it seems a little cloudy, is that ok? Also I bought hyaluronic acid in a very thick gel form (did say 1% - but it was so thick and difficult to get out of the tiny 30ml bottle that I decided to only use about 2.5g) and lastly the panthenol was also in a very thick gel like consistency in a jar. Only the niacinamide arrived in powder form. Please let me know what you think about the ingredients I used - all came from a reputable supplier who I use all the time for other ingredients for my soap making business.

Thank you so much for this! What would be more effective? A toner with the same % of active ingredient(s) or a serum with the same % of active ingredients? I'm debating between these 2 products and they both have the same ingredients as well as the percentages...it's just one is a serum that's thicker and the other is a spray toner that's thinner (I just pour it in my palm and apply to my face, though). But I keep hearing mixed things about the 2 and their differences but is there really a difference in effectiveness if they're basically the same ingredients and potency?

Recently using vit c serum what i noticed was when I stop using all pigmentation is back . Do let us know if results r permanent or temporary by using this serums ?
@kikitae7742
@kikitae7742 Жыл бұрын
Basically any topicals work only temporarily- that's why even doctors suggest to have a routine skincare everyday. A simple way to explain is - vit c brightens skin complexion and naturally, if your skin is not getting the goodness of the vitamin c anymore- it does go back to a dull complexion which brings back you pigmentation(your melanin production is back in business without the vitC) Also i hope you are using your sunscreen always whether you are using your vitC or not! Hope this helps!

Formula botanica was a big bummer on the niacinamide in my final project. They counted me off for using a pH under 5.8 claiming the niacinamide doesn’t even function under this pH. They said the skin irritation is a myth. I don’t agree with them at all from my reading 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi Marie, thank you so much for this video. I made the mistake in purchasing the Gluten free Niacinamide powder (on Amazon), thinking it was cosmetic grade. After receiving it, the directions were talking about how to take it orally. My question is this, do I have to throw it out because I cannot use it to make a niacinamide toner or face cream because of it directions shown and nothing about skincare? Thank you as always for your extensive knowledge and love in helping others.
