Dropping my first ever KZbin comment just to say how much I love your stuff mate. Probably not what you wanna hear but great to see a running account not just about breezing a sub-3 marathon. The struggle is very relatable 😅

Congrats on another marathon under the belt and another great piece of content to go along with it. Might not be hitting marathon PR’s but certainly hitting PRs with the content! Loving the colour grade and sound design on this one 🫶🫶

This video is very relatable, as others have already said. I just ran a 4:40 for my first marathon in November, and nothing really prepares you for that final stretch even in good conditions. Good stuff and keep up the content!

Running after being sick has inspired me. Been ill on and off again since October with 0 motivation but this video has inspired me to try running again after I recover fully!

I know you're getting these comments already but really wanna say its very nice and comforting watching a normal guy doing these things. So many elite level sporting content creators out there can kinda make you feel abit wrong sometimes, but when watching you it's clear to see we (the normal guys just havin a bit of fun with doing these events ) are not alone. So thank you (and sick edits btw. Feel like watching a proper documentary).

Loving the no, nonsense and honest approach. Fantastic video, which captures perfectly the struggle on both the mind and body in completing a marathon. The humidity is a real energy sapper. Well done for battling on. Love the content. If could you make the font slightly bigger; leave it on for longer so It can be read without pausing. It would only ad to what are already brilliantly created/edited videos.🙏

Enjoyable video, reminds people how tough a marathon is. One request / piece of advice - in the intro it would have been good to know the date you were filming rather than just Friday, race on Sunday. Look forward to seeing future content

Ahahah brotha as someone who did this marathon last year and ABSOLUTELY got destroyed I know the struggle. Mile 10 my body decided it wanted to throw the first hamstring cramp I’ve ever gotten. Never thought I’d run a race where for 16miles I was playing cramp roulette with every step I took 😂

That looks absolutely awful, well done for gritting it out Dan. I've only ridden a bike and gone for short runs in Hawaii, that was plenty. The Big Island is so different to Honolulu, very rural, we stayed a few km inland which was lots cooler as it was a couple thousand feet of elevation
@Daaaanjj14 күн бұрын
yeah would have loved to visit the big island. We went up to the North Shore of Honolulu and it was miles more rural; more of what I had imagined Hawaii to be like. Beaut
