Had this happen on my 240SX many moons ago, limped it home and found the slave cyl blown out. Installed new one, blew immediately. Swapped that with another, also blew out immediately. Figured out the pivot ball for the release fork snapped off. Trans had to come off, $600 job for a $10 part. Man, that sucked.

My slave cylinder died on my first car, a 1990 Geo Prizm hatchback, while stopped at a busy stoplight. Clutch when straight to the ground. Turned off the car, put it in first, light turned green, turned on the car and went. It was a shitty drive home lol. Loved that little beater of a car.

Broke my fork when the clutch when out on one of my Hondas. Couldn't belive how hard it was to find a clutch fork for that car. Luckily a shop I used to hang UT at had one laying around for whatever random reason.

Had the same happen to my 03’ 350z when I first got it, went to do a 1-2 shift and pedal went straight to the floor, luckily I was only a mile from the house, so I started it in 3rd and was able to limp her home, 9 hours of work over 2 days getting that transmission of for the first time just to replace a $18 pivot ball, but it’s such a common issue on those they make a chromoly steel replacement
