My first camping trip in a tent as a 20 something adult was near there. Matole Campground just inland from Shelter Cove. I love that area. It's been many, many years since I've been in that area. Probably around 30 years. I've been close and driven by. It was fun to see it again. Thanks for sharing your adventure.

I was at Mattole just a few weeks ago but didn’t record anything as it was my first time. Loved it so much I came back a second time (this video). Such a magical place. I’m glad you enjoyed.

I've heard that music with the flute before I think. Is that Skyrim soundtrack? Whiterun or the area around there? I'll never forget the first time playing skyrim. Laying, look up at the redwoods, listening to the birds and gusts of wind rhythmically come through is something I love when I go camping. Happy to see you enjoying our county!

That was indeed from the Skyrim soundtrack and kicks in around Whiterun. Good ear! And thank you. That soundtrack is my go to for hiking whether I'm recording or not.
