A Tragic Event in the Astrology World: Things to Remember

Thank you Adam 🙏 My younger brother and I survived a very similar situation with our mother who was a Psychiatric Nurse. It was the Summer before i went into 6th grade (1988) she took us on a drive for over an hour and a half threatening to drive us off various cliffs, to kill us all. By the grace of God/The Universe she got herself together enough to drop us off at one of my friends house. Thank God we got into a foster home and my dad was able to gain full custody of us finally after years of fighting for us. I stopped all contact with her after this for over a year. When i was 17 she committed suicide, and if we hadn't gotten out she would have killed us too. I found out years later that she had Schizophrenia, her chart shows this and has helped me to understand her struggles. This is a moment to remember that we need to be really discerning about who we listen to and what kind of content we are taking in. Not everyone is in their right mind and not everyone is doing Astrology or other spiritual content is doing it forthe right reasons. Also just because someone holds a certain jon title it doesn't mean they're a good person or have the right intentions. You cant trust people simply because of their title. Please protect your happiness, mind and energy❤❤

My husband had a massive bleeding event this weekend that needed emergency surgery right after we got up to Ohio to watch the eclipse. That astrological anxiety and fear was absolutely real for me too, especially with him having a bunch of important placements in Aries. The eclipse hit my Chiron. It's also a Chiron return for me. The day of and after I was emotionally torn apart. I am sooooo thankful I had the support I needed to get through. If she had no support these things can get out of hand fast. Adam- what I would love to see is a series teaching people techniques to manage strong inflows of energy during intense transits. Some of these transits push so much strong energy into a person’s body that people are unable to tolerate the intensity of the energy in the moment- and immediately seek to discharge it, often destructively. I have had many, many intense transits the past 7-10 years and have had to learn to develop techniques to surf powerful waves of energy during horribly painful, grievous and scary transits. Would love to volunteer to share if you’re interested in creating content for mental health during transits.

I’m an astrologer & have been studying it since im a kid. I can attest to the anxiety it has caused me at times when I see certain transits especially when I see certain aspects effecting my chart. The eclipse Monday happened conjunct my natal Saturn in Aries (6th house) that’s exactly opposed my natal Mars in Libra (12th house). I was rushed to the hospital yesterday. I laid there all alone waiting on test results and possibility of emergency surgery. I am a Nightlight 24 alumni and as I laid there in the chaos and uncertainty I listened to your videos for several hours, most I’ve already seen. Oh Adam, I totally understand and empathize with this situation. Yesterday I was thinking the same about astrology and how its influence can heavily tax us emotionally. I follow moon transitions and most of the time I am prepared but some transits are so strong that I can’t pick it up before I am already involved emotionally. I have been fortunate to experience just a immense flow of tears and sorrow and thankfully no violence surfaces. I find these while tumultuous also has its gifts , we just have to wait for the storm to pass. Very difficult for some. I know that I will continue to follow astrology because I find that it helps to stay aware. I am so grateful for astrology, it quite literally saved me. How much time I invest in astrology ‘everyone’ says why don’t you go professional. But after watching so many people go professional which now I can see that they don’t have the same depth of understanding, I know how these moments of expanded understanding effected me, and I wasnt influencing, putting myself out there, I can’t imagine how it would feel to have those shocking moments and the motion of the internal dialogue, how loud it would feel, i honestly can’t even imagine it. Yes, when I saw the news I remembered what you said about that man who took his life in an astrological event like this. It was a shocked for me as well when I watched it the news. But the news didn’t gave a good impression. I can relate. I have practiced astrology for many years and back when Saturn was in Sagittarius, the exact day it was conjunct my daughters natal Pluto in the first we found out her best friend died in a house fire. This situation really strikes a nerve for me, as I've had spirituality and astrology do serious damage to my mental health in the past. For about 4 years, I swore off any and all spiritual practice, but I have never been able to fully denounce astrology. I didn't look at transits at all for that period of time, and it took a massive amount of mental recovery and critical thinking to become comfortable with seriously practicing astrology again. The Jupiter Uranus conjunction coincides with my Jupiter return, and this recent series of astrological events have been weighing heavily on me to say the least. this event was tragic. I woke up to this news on a Instagram media page that i follow, & the first thing i thought about was the eclipse energy conjunct Chiron. Its also true that there is many negative responses and reactions toward the astrological community in the comments of these media pages right now especially from astrology sceptics & religious people (Saturn & mars in Pisces) as an astrologer myself it is annoying to see and makes u wanna defend the art of astrology but then i reminded myself Mercury is retrograde in Aries Conjunct the Sun and Opposing Black moon Lilith under this tragedy so i wont give it my energy. thank you Adam for doing what you do, the astrological wisdom u provide on these topics is Phenomenal & you are appreciated 💯

Her behaviour for years was focused on hustle and making $$, not wisdom. Her pattern was clear and she regularly attacked people online, including former clients. Very disturbing. I personally don't blame astrology or mental illness. She choose violence on multiple occasions. RIP to her victims.

There have been times in the last 4 years when I’ve quaked in my boots looking at the astrology and had to really ask myself if this was helping me or not….but, If anything, it has taught me to have tremendous respect, care and caution for the practice. It is terribly sad, and it happens, irrespective of one ´s involvement in astrology….even to a pediatric doctor, unfathomable as that sounds, (a case in Toronto several decades ago).
