I love this guitar. I have Fenders, EVH, Charvel and Ibanez, but my affinity deluxe is actually the guitar I take to most gigs. Not only because I care less if it falls over or gets dinged, but honestly the neck is epic, the maple board feels great and after a fret job it plays just as well as any other axe I own. I have had the squeal from the pickups, but for ceramics they sound incredible and honestly better with a bunch of different drives than my Wolfgang pickups do in many cases. I think it’s something to do with the extra distance between the pickups compared to most other models, tonal differences make it great to do a whole set on and tuning is solid as fleak! I had the same issue on my Fender American Pro Telecaster Deluxe with shawbuckers. The bridge pickup would squeel at loud volumes, basically making it unusable. I ended up just putting a different pickup in that i had laying around for a different sound.

Thanks for sharing the information mate, at the beginning I also thought that the bridge could be the issue on my guitar, but fortunately I managed to sort only doing this procedure with the metal cover

What if you remove the metal covers altogether? Will that eliminate the microphonic issue?

Yes, I believe so! I actually thought about doing that but in the end I decided to take a shot with the paraffin before removing it completely

The solution would be to STOP buying and doing demos on CHEAP guitars.

I disagree. Even though this is a cheap guitar, I've mentioned in the video that the same issue happened to some Fender guitars and they're not cheap. In the end of the day you need to act to find a solution when you face a problem, so like I solved my issue I'm pretty sure other people can solve it as well. Have a good day mate

@@tiagocontieri Casualidad doy con tu canal hoy, hace muchos años cuando compre esta guitarra nueva tuve el mismo problema el dia que fui al ensayo, y lo solucione tal cual como lo hiciste, pero sin quitar la cubierta del humbucker, lo sumergi en cera y parafina derretida, solucionado el problema
