The Hummer H1 is a four-wheel-drive utility vehicle based on the military vehicle known as the Humvee, which was made by AM General.
The Hummer H1 was produced from 1992 through 2006, and was the first of what became the Hummer line.Built in Mishawaka, Indiana, the public could get a Hummer H1 in several different forms: with a soft top, as a four-door hard top called the Sport Utility Truck, as the Alpha Wagon, a two-door pickup or a four-door slantback.
