I wanted to cry when the PT Cruiser showed up. My first car was and is a PT Cruiser, and while it's old as sin, it still runs fine, but it's on its last legs and I dread the day we have to junk it. Edit: We had to send it away about a year ago now. I still miss it dearly, even if its replacement is a better car by several extents.

What are the problems with it and how much of them do you think you can fix yourself? My first car is a 1987 Volvo 740 that has never ever left me stranded for 8 years and 100k miles in my ownership, so I know how you feel, while my car might be simpler to fix, there is no denying the love between a person and their first car and I hope you can get your PT Crusier to stay with you for a long time, they are good cars even though they get hated on as much as Priuses do.

The PT Cruiser was a good looking car, but it was badly built. Engines blew head gaskets very easily, especially the super charged ones, the transmissions wore out quickly, they were primarily built in Mexico to save money, they had far too many plastic parts, they had several recalls, the gas mileage wasn't anything special despite the fact it was a 4 cylinder, the cooling systems were crap, the heater cores didn't last, intake manifolds tend to warp and crack, the electrical was crap, the ignition tended to fail, and it was slow. It was a good looking car hands down. But the cost of repairing them long term made many owners like you who loved them end up selling or junking them because they just didn't last.

@@jebVlogs556 Those are much more worth it cars than the PT Cruiser. Some cars are so near and dear to us that we'd never let them go. I have a former police Chevy Impala, and it was a great zippy car and I had a lot of money in it. But the head gasket blew, and I can't afford to fix it after buying a truck. So I'm gonna have to sell it. The transmission was wearing out anyway.

For the car that "Once drove a surfer to sunset" i quickly noticed you copied the same "eye" falling out of its socket and also show the empty eye socket in the next scene with the car upside-down. Nice attention to detail because in the original movie they show the same "eye" fall out but show the empty eye socket on the incorrect side when the car is upside-down. Which always bothered me. But you corrected this nicely.

My dad had a AE86 or 85 I would drive it a lot until I took it over to LA and Vegas it made its last stop before breaking down the car had a lot of problems and it was too expensive to repair my dad thought of having it for another month or two until he decided to send the car away to the wrecker now when I saw the 86 on this video I kinda cried my eyes out RIP AE86 1985-2012

The PT Cruiser is so accurate! Also sad about the the Toyota truck in the end though, they are a damned good truck... The interlude with the happy part of the protagonists driving down now the road(🎵up and down that highway 🎵)...made no sense to me, imo...should have been an Mx3 Mazda Miata.

I really like this but I have some nitpick first try making the old fashioned car toa 1940 racecar since the the cars look modern second. Also make the animation more fast when the metal thing takes the car to the scrusher make it more fast and weight. Would like to have a remake of this
