Hey Jim I love the idea on target lock but I'm using Garmin products because I believe the LVS34 transducer has a better image then the mega live. I believe mega live is a faster imaging. Is there a way to put my LVS34 on a target lock so I have both of best worlds. I can still control the transducer with the trolling motor but I can still target lick on off shore structure while spotlocked?

@@BigJimFishing i just did the update on my solixs 4.2 and live 1.3 I want to see what I get tomorrow on the lake. I turned the transducer on the shaft ti put to the right to see what I get then I turn it back to straight ahead and see that. See what image is better. I’m thinking that side mount they sell will be better. I think net money sells them on here.

If you ever have an issue with interference on your front graphs it can be solved by purchasing a y-cable and bring the 360 and 2-Ducer to the same graph. That’s how HB processes the signals to avoid interference so the graphs aren’t working against each other.

Not true. I used the Y cable for the first 6 months of having mega live. I get ring flashes every now and then both ways. I’ve discussed with HB and they know it’s a network problem and are working on a fix

Big Jim just wanted to get your opinion, I have mega 360 now with helix 12 mdi gn4, i purchased mega live target lock and im debating on going to a solix 15 and split screen do you think it will shrink too small. From what ive read you can only split those 2 at 50/50 I believe. Also my ultrex is not a link but if you connect to solix bluetooth will the minnkota steer function? I am adding the 5 port switch so every unit will be networked. thank you for any help

Link required. 50 percent screen is small for ML, you will want it on full screen. 360 on 50% is ok.

Jim, What is your procedure for booting all the electronics. It takes me quite awhile to get everything working. My mega live and target lock comes and goes and finally works. Sometimes it shows up on the network and sometimes it doesn't Thanks

My console 15” first. Then the two on bow. Takes 6/7 min. Make sure you have all updates and good clean power.

So Jim lets say your 60 yds from your waypoint can you set target lock so it will take your boat lets say 35yds from that waypoint if you lock on to that waypoint i guess I'm saying can you set it to lock you on a certain distance from each waypoint

I have not tried that. I guess you could. Targetlock the waypoint, then auto pilot to waypoint with an offset selected of 35 yds.

What’s the suggested battery set up? I have live 360 15” at bow and a 12” at counsel. Brand new boat died after 6 hours. I also have a solix and another 12” helix to hook up.
