Humminbird Screen View Tips

I was very skeptical before I bought it. Now I don't know how I'd get along without it! Seriously!!!!!

I know this is an old fishfinder/ GPS system now but I just picked up a boat with this exact Humminbird in it. Do you have some guidance on setting up the GPS in it? I have the white puck and I'm thinking of getting Navionics for it. Any tips appreciated.

howd you get 360 imaging if you have just side imaging

How come mine doesn't look detail at all just blocks and i can't tell if there's anything in the bottom
