Such an interesting array of coloring in these hummingbirds. Love the Collared Inca, the Long-Tailed Sylph, and think the Fawn-breasted Brilliant is so gorgeous with that beautiful emerald green head. Another truly enjoyable lesson. Keep up the great work.

So for your recording of these hummingbirds for posterity you are getting blessed with birds you’re not even trying for. God sees your passion for the job He has given you to do and He is responding by helping you get it done, all He really wants us to do is use what He has given us to His glory and for our benefit.

Another beautiful video with amazing birds. Some of the colors are unreal. The beak on that one hummingbird could really have some sword-fights with your birds.

The Inca bird I like the splash of green they have on their bodies breaks up all that blackish colour, which is still elegant.

Your photos are all so stunning! The way you capture the emerald birds is just beautiful. 😆💖 I'm curious about the noise in some of the photos; is this because the birds move so quickly, you need to use a super fast shutter speed? It must be frustrating to capture them with how fidgety they are, but they're so cute :) I love how they move super fast even in slow motion! Thanks for publishing your work here for us to see!!!! ✨

The noise problem is that most of the birds I photographed in Peru were in the cloud forest with very low light. It is a constant balance of shutter speed with the very fast and skittish birds and the low light of the cloud forest. I refuse to flash hummingbirds. They clearly do not like it and the resulting photos never look right like a natural hummingbird in its environment no matter what kind of filter or low setting is used. I don't have these problems shooting my own hummingbirds on the balcony in sunny southern California!

The Slyph hummingbird has a tail that rivals the bill of his cousin the Long-bill. Show me your bill and I’ll show you my tail.

Nothing evolved they were created out of the mouth of God. Read the Genesis account of the beginning of creation, and you will see how all creatures came into being including the birds.

Evolution and God can coexist. Not saying humans came from monkeys or anything like that but that exterior aspects can cause change onto a specie (over many many years). We have proof that certain species didn't exist at certain points in time. Some changed and adapted due to climate or competition for example.. No reason to rule out science because of your belief in God and no reason to rule out God because of your believe in science.
