We also bought all furnitures( sofas, dining table,bed with side tables and dresser ,sofa bed ) from Furniture Village for our new home 6 months Excellent Quality.Took 4-12 weeks for delivery for diff things Please also explore Daals and Wayfair for other furnitures like crockery units ,coffee tables etc For furnishings ( curtains,Cushions ,decor etc ) Dunlem highly recommended. Homesense is also good to explore

I just want to point out something around gifted deposit if anyone is looking to buy a property in the UK. If you are getting gifted deposit from abroad i.e India then you need to sometimes get 6 months bank statements rather than 3 months and also the amounts have to link to the source if it's coming from mutual funds or savings or business accounts then you'll need to get 6 months statements for each account. This is all because of a great thing called "money laundering act" in the UK. Just be mindful if you're getting gift deposit from aboard. Might be worth doing a short video on this Gaurav and Avi

Hi, We have been watching your Channel since we came to UK. It has been really helpful and relatable experience. I have some questions related to Home buying, hope you would be able to clarify some or guide as you have done lot of research in this journey. I have purchased one lease-hold property which is a flat in high rise building as my first property, so I got my stamp duty waived off. I haven't had LISA or any buy to help sceme. Now my question is, 1. If I sell this property and buy other property, will that new propery considered as my first home ? can I avail the benefit of LISA and stamp duty for buying that propery if open a LISA account now and use it for that purpose? 2. Would I be liable for paying any tax for capital gain when I sell this property and buy new as my first home?

Hello mate, thanks for watching our videos. Based on our experience and knowledge, If you have previously owned a house or flat, either in the UK or abroad, you may not qualify as a first-time buyer. Owning a property, regardless of whether you bought it or inherited it, disqualifies you from the first-time buyer status. If house/flat 1 has been your only and main residence for the whole period of onwenrship, you are entitle to full private residence relief and no capital gains would be due.

Just to add leasehold or freehold both would mean that you own a house so I don’t think you’ll be considered a first time buyer again
