As i watched the drama further, i realised that khirad indeed is a strong woman bcs theres no need for her to give clarifications to someone who doesnt even believe a word she says so it's best to keep quiet. The only thing i had a problem with is that khirad never said anything when ashar would straight up behave rudely with her. She'd always let ashar disrespect her and not say a word. Plus, ashar was heck of a toxic person. Till the very end i stuck to the thought that khirad should not go back to him. Kia faida esy shohar ka jo sb k samny apki izat ka bera gharak kr de or yaqeen bhi na kry ap pe. If he can do it once, he can do it a thousand times. Women should stay away from such toxic men

@aina_khan999 however i do agree that if theres love between them, they should give each other a chance. Be it a man or a woman who's at fault. But think of the opposite, if roles were reversed. If khirad ACTUALLY was characterless and ashar was right about not believing her, do u think he'd actually ever forgive her and start his life again with her? Or any other man? No, men never forget or forgive their wives but in dramas, they always show the women forgiving their husbands after doing the worst to them. This is the hypocrisy that's been shown in hamsafar as well. The storyline is thus not that great, just the actors and the acting is.

@@turtleneck_sweater well this is not the reversal of characters that u explained...ashar was never characterless he never even thought of another woman so khirad never had to forgive him about his infidelity she had to forgive him for his misunderstandings and ashar was indeed a great father and a great husband as well and if khirad would have ever misunderstood ashar about these things I'm sure khirad would've done the same bcz it was never something sudden ashar's mother was already filling these ideas in ashar's mind that khirad is cheating on him...

I really like and admire Mahira’s acting and the character she is portraying. Only two issues with the character: (1) she should be more forceful in standing up to those evil people surrounding her - in particular her mother-in-law and her chutia good-for-nothing husband AssHar. (2) She is a mathematical genius, just like her father. She should have obtained a job and become independent of those bad people.
