He's horrible, and at the same time he isn't entirely despicable either. He ruined Sakeena, and Sakeena also caused him to spiral mentally, you could see his pain too, how her attitude was eating away at him because she married him but was never there. A ghost that didn't respond. Does that justify anything? Not at all, but it sure helps understand his psyche better, that he has a bit of heart, even if it's unforgivable.
