There is not only one feminist ending to this drama. Many are saying Mehreen leaving Aswad would do justice to her character and tell the story of a woman's strength. I disagree. Demanding dignity while staying in a relationship is strength. Forgiving a fallible human is strength. Being able to distinguish between false promises and genuine regret is strength. If Mehreen asserts her worth, her truth, her love and demands what she is owed while staying with an evolved version of Aswad, that would be as empowering an ending as a divorce. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

some lessons from this serial for our practical life 1: Do not compare your children with their relatives specially their cousins regarding their exam marks, their status, their life style, their achievements and all. every one is born with distinct capabilities. "Every body is a genius but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb up tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid". such comparisons stem a deep rooted tree of jealousy and insecurities and ultimately in inferiority complex that leads to intense hatred in future. 2: Do not judge someone until and unless u are 100% sure about the thing you are judging them with. without knowing the realities that were just fed in Aswad by Mashal, he is going to lose Mehreen who loved him throughout her life but because of the abusive nature of Aswad, she is demanding divorce. Do not lose your loved one in such stupidities 3: parents need to support their children in every thick and thin. give them the confidence they need so that they develop a confident personality in future

I'm so glad Mehreen got the courage to ask for a divorce, she was basically living in an abusive relationship w/ asfad and although people say mehreen is weak, she fought against her suicidal ideations and now asking for the divorce, that makes her stronger than most of us. Also, the fact asfad's mom said asfad loves her? thts not love, u don't hurt someone you love, i hope tht mehreen can get a divorce from him but they still use each other as support systems, tht would be best but rn I feel tht they really need each other, especially mehreen, she needs someone strong enough to be her support system and she can't do tht alone, she needs someone to be with her to fight these hallucinations of mashal but w/ asfad basically trying to torture mehreen every second since there marriage, idk how he'll regain back her trust. Either way, the last 5 episodes were dragged but the last episode and this one really brought back what i loved about this drama, hats off to mahira, kubra and usman, there acting is fantastic and really breathed life into their characters.

This guy aswad is beyond one's amazement. He still has the audaucity to blame mashall's father for his own sadistic behavior with mahreen. Mahreen ne mashall ko ni mara, ap ne humay mar dia. Mashall's father didnt force him to be dumb enough to never investigate the whole predicament. It was his own doing. Jeeez. Truth or no truth, someone's fault or no fault, his actions can never be justified.
