Spear shot tried to explain the infinite regression through consciousness which made it confusing, its a simple argument that goes like this; looking at the universe logically from a scientific and modern standpoint, we know that something must have created the universe, whether it be the big bang or whatever, then something created that, then something created that, and so on.... If you argue there was no god, or no first "action", this would carry on infinitely. But logically it cannot, because the first action would never be made, it'd regress infinitely. Which is why logically there HAS to be a first action, and it has to be eternal, it was there before nothingness was even a concept and was already there when everything started, which would be outside what we can fathom. This is what is referred to as god in Islam.

religion was originally created to enforce community. since hammurabi shit. it was an easier way to have people live decently, religious people back then wouldnt steal from eachother, cause harm etc etc, but since it encompassed so many people there were a few intellectuals who had the forethough of there being ages before them, and questioning how those times occured, if they were never there to see it, which then melded into having godly figures becomming the reason for things. but the continued basis across all religions was to "be a decent human" islam being one that was not just being decent in a community/to those around you, but to be decent to yourself and not jeopardize personal being for short term enjoyment. kinda why its my favorite of the religions as an atheist, besides the women stuff which i genuinely do not care about, kinda helps the horndog nature of guys toned down.

@@agp4580 theres a difference between assuming something through logic and proving something, proving requires irrefutable evidence that can be seen by an outside viewer, someone might not believe in gravity existing because they cant see gravity, but you can toss something and make it fall, or go to another planet and watch it fall faster or slower (in a few more decades) everyones life is based on proved or assumed scenarios, majority proven, you can prove his existance through assumed logic, not provable logic, works the same with every religion, and every religion has their own versions of assumed logical "truths" that can be explained by a being good way to look at it (esp as a humzh viewer) is to use a reverse racists lens, a good portion of african americans believe the country/institutions are against them but cant physically prove it a single time, there are assumable "truths" like the police stuff, or being treated poorly by others, but that was years ago and in modern day its more explained by the fact humans are never 100% friendly, and there is a larger portion of certain groups that tend to be hostile or outwardly negative to others, which makes the other groups more apprehensive to them and less likely to give them trust until proven they arent from one of the bad subgroups of those people , shorter example is go to a ghetto then go 20 minutes away from the ghetto, youll have very similar race demographics but a much lower concentration of the negatives from those groups, same with trailer parks and shit like that

Smh this discussion was hella over cooked... Pork is not bad for you if you cook it.There is very few meats that you can eat raw without consequences. Pork, Beef, Lamb, Venison, Boar or chicken they are all bad for you if you eat it raw. Humans have lost their ability to consume raw meat due to us using fire to cook food for many many thousands of years. Just like we lost our tails from when we were apes anything the body deems unnecessary the body will automaticly evolve to remove that part. Now after the meat part comes the religion rabbit hole. There is nothing wrong with believing in a higher power, But to say that there has to be or say that it must be true with no clear evidence is wrong. Just like in space science there is mostly hypothesises about the universe since there is no clear evidence yet. We might have figured out the math behind something but that does not mean we have the full picture. As an example we know heavy materials was created from star novas and very heavy materials from star super novas etc. This is something we have figured out and is something that goes against alot of religions. Religions has no evidence of being the "TRUTH" just as we still don't 100% know how the univers came to be from science. Will we ever figure it out? Well time will tell i suppose. Either the human race dies out from a natural disaster or we figure out how to see the universe in a higher dimension. Or i guess the higher power can just write books and throw them down from heaven.

The companions of prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said that if the prohibition of alcohol was sent down as soon as they became Muslim, they would have never became Muslim. God knew that, hence why he prohibited it years later. Eating pork doesn't make you a non-Muslim, even the prophets companions had to take their time with implementing Islam.
