Actually what happened at Celtic was Fergus McCann took control of the existing company and restructured it, where as at Rangers Charles Green bought the stadium and the training ground and other asset's and formed a new company and left the old one to rot. Also according to your own website and I quote, "Rangers FC formed in 1872 became Rangers PLC." So in your clubs own words the club BECAME the company, so the club and the company which was liquidated were one and the same.
