We have Ibis's like this but with black beaks in Sydney, Australia.. we call them Bin Chickens because they always dive into bins if they get a chance!

They remind me so much of our Canadian geese lol we actually have an issue with so many and not supposed to feed them cause they get a bunch of diseases. The city had to coat some of the eggs so they wouldn't hatch, crazy! People still seem to feed them.

I'm not judging, I just can't imagine having that amount of food sitting around as leftovers because I couldn't finish it. Many species of ibis are scavengers plus urban wildlife is often dependent on what they can find left by humans due to us destroying their natural habitat and food sources. Maybe it's not their ideal diet, but most of us humans don't eat ours either.
