Everyone one of these men took a whole future from a person and family a generation. Now how could you say just like that they deserve a second chance. Really how many chances had they had before they crushed someone else's dream.

So taking another life , throwing him away in a cage is your answer? Have you considered a persons mental at the time? Growth now? How many chances has the world given all of us? You never know what you will do until you’re faced with it.

I wish all states would adopt this bill. This law. Many prisons are people who made a bad choice at a young age. First offenders deserves a chance. . .

Murders get out a head of nonviolent 3 strikes offenders, now that's unreal, any many 3 strikes offenders have been incarcerated 20+ years, that's really sad and unjust.

No not that many. They don’t always enforce that unless they feel the person deserves it. The crimes his court behavior his willingness to take a plea!

I think this is wrong. If you got something to do with a murder a life lost you should get 20 years . You can't bring a life back .

Nothing barbaric about convicting someone of murder if they played a role in someone’s murder.

I got domestic violence charges for having a “petite mall seizure” while my husband was trying to hold me down. But unfortunately every time I come out of my seizures, I have to fight my way out and I don’t know why and I have no memory of it it. When I asked my attorney why I was charged and thrown in jail even though my doctors gave the courts numerous medical documents to support my claim, the judges were powerless to stop the verdict because the CROOKS IN OUR CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE HAVE AN UNWRITTEN RULE TO ARREST SOMEONE FOR ANY DISTURBANCE NO MATTER WHAT THE REASON !!! I can’t wait until justice is served on the California crooks in our government !!!

I think that the amount of time that convicted felons should serve for homicide should be equal to 80 minus the age of the murdered victim. This is because 80 is the (current) average human lifespan, so subtracting the age of the victim from it would give a (usually) good estimate on how much longer that person may have lived if they hadn't been murdered.
