Hung Cao projected winner of Virginia Senate GOP Primary

Republican candidate Hung Cao was named the projected winner of the Virginia Senate GOP primary, according to the Associated Press.
Cao is a retired Navy Captain who lives in Loudoun County. He also served with special operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and Somalia and balanced the Navy’s $140 billion budget at the Pentagon.
Cao will take on U.S. Senator Tim Kaine in November as he seeks a third term.
