My great-grandparents came from Hungary. I understand that if I learn to speak Hungarian (from Zsuzsi) that I can get citizenship.

I have a Hungarian citizenship automatically from my Mother. I didn't need to make an exam but just to translate my documents to Hungarian with the help of my lawyer. This is why I'm learning the language to preserve my family's language. I would love to see more videos like this about Hungarian Citizenship and Political frame.

But in this case you would need to pass only an interview, not the Constitutional Exam.

@@raymondvictor9386 Of course! I have been there twice. As a matter fact, I want to live there. Hungarians came from central Asia and before that, Mongolia so I would feel right at home with fellow Asians 😁

Just an observation: it seems that the Hungarians who received the Nobel Prize were 19 in total (including all fields).

If you want to become a Hungarian citizen you have to have one you of your parents mother or father to be hungarian by blood, then you have gather the documents that prove it and turn to a Hungarian Embassy to apply to citizenship in this case you won't be requested a Hungarian language exam, this is based on, a Hungarian law adopted in 1957. This law still applies don't hesitate to request Hungarian to request you passport.

Yes, that's called Simplifield Naturalization. Other people have to pass the Constitution Exam.

Na ez az, evek ota mondom, hogy kb. hasonlo kerdeseket kellene feltenni szavazas elott....Mondjuk, 10 kerdesbol otre valaszol helyesen (lehet teszt is), akkor szavazhat. Marcsak azert, amikor en tanultam foldrajzot, sokkal kevesebb (es mas :) orszagok voltak pl. Magyarorszag szomszedjai :)

Uramisten, mekkora homály van szinte minden válaszadónál! A fiatal párocska tudatlansága rendkívül dühítő, de nem okoz meglepetést, a 21. századi fiataloknak valóban nem a műveltség a prioritás. Az már felháborítóbb, hogy a két középkorú barátnő milyen keveset tudott a korához képest.
