Hunger - Klaus and Camille Music Video

After hearing “Hunger” by Ross Copperman in “The Vampire Diaries” season finale, we thought the song would really fit the building relationship between Klaus and Camille over on “The Originals.” The video tells the story of Klaus’ hunger and feelings for Cami, and how they feel pulled towards each other despite their reservations. Really, this video speaks for itself. We wanted to reveal the honest emotions between these two characters and what they feel for each other. There are elements of “Beauty and the Beast” in their relationship as well as a Byronic Hero falling for the angelic character that makes him feel more human. No doubt there is a pure, kindred spirit love between these two which can often be found in classic literature with similar themes.

I ❤️ your video; absolutely beautiful. These two are really a retelling of Beauty and Beast; Cami even said her attraction to him, "the wrong kind of guy" is a "tale as old as time". And Finn said to her that "Well, Cami that's your tale." Someone actually made a post on tumblr with gifs mirroring Cami and Klaus to Beauty and The Beast. He calls her beautiful in such a epic way in the finale and he refers to himself as a savage beast. In the season 1 finale Klaus sends Cami away, just like Beast sending Belle away from the castle. The way Cami leans into Klaus' hand when he cups her face, Belle does the same thing with Beast. There are countless references within their story. I just love them and I hope they end up together. Again, I love love love love this video 😍😍😍. It's perfect. 😘

I loved this video. I hope Klamille becomes an endgame OTP because the Beauty and the Beast reference is perfect. I agree in what you also said in one of your reviews that Klaus can never fully be with Camille until he "transforms" back into the prince he was. I hope Season 3 and beyond shows Camille helping him become the good person he, Camille, and even Hope knows he can be.

This is pure perfection. From the song choice, to the timing, to the scenes you used, to the quality, to the voiceovers, the transitions... It's just perfect. I can't stop watching. I nearly cried watching this, Klamille is such a beautiful story, it inspires amazing amazing videos like this. Brilliant work, definitely my favorite Klamille vid, it will be hard to top this one.
