Hungry Lion Pride Tangles with Fearless Buffalo Herd

The mighty Thor has been bloodied overnight, clear signs of a fight. When the injured Nomad leader finds his brothers, the band of males must rethink their strategy for the pride takeover. With Thor bruised and battered and the Nomads retreating, the MK pride once again reigns supreme. Having worked up an appetite, the MKs see a feast in their sights when a herd of buffalo crosses through their area. But these buffalo don't scare easy, and an expected showdown between the predator and prey is about to go down.

I want to report here that the pride lioness Topi "Summer" lost her life in the early hours of March 7 in a wildlife-human conflict. According to locals, Summer jumped over a boma which is outside the reserve. She was with another lioness and together they killed two cows, the queen was thrown (luckily the other lioness managed to escape), unfortunately Summer lost her life. Rest in peace great Queen Summer. A protective mother. Your legacy will continue! More and more lions are being killed in the Masai Mara, by Masai herders, who are taking justice into their own hands. JUSTICE FOR ALL KILLED LIONS. STOP THIS NOW.

@@garytheosophilus Friend, I think it has been rather the other way around, every year, human beings usurp more wild lands, destroy the habitat and nature in general, enter protected areas and national reserves without legal permission, kill lions, taking justice by their hands, when there are agreements that, if for some reason their herds are affected, they are paid to compensate for the loss(s), well, but I respect your opinion even if I don't share it.

The lions strayed into a human settlement. The Maasai had no choice but to defend their livelihood. BTW the local laws protect the wildlife more than they do humans.

It does rain there. In fact most of the big game wildlife (and livestock) in this part of the world is found in the arid and semi-arid lands. More than in the evergreen areas.

Hello there, Director , I have a suggestion, I would like to suggest have the African Government dump food from food banks, spoiled food and grains out there in the jungle where the wild animals resides. If the African Government feed the wild animals than it will deter the wild animals from eating each other. Therefore, the wild animals can embark on a longer life span.
