These things aren’t mutually exclusive, Puff is a really badly designed character relative to the rest of melee and is definitely op in some aspects, but Hbox is still a great player of course

Jimmy Vasquez no, because melee is primarily a game where having fun while you play and move is paramount. Playing puff provides an experience which is usually the opposite of what people pick up melee for

I’ve watched this many times but I wanted to comment that on the none set hbox references how he gains a lead and then he waits for none to get antsy. And on the commentary when fiction is down on the set count none is commentating how it’s time for fiction to go in and make a play. I’m seeing the player matchups that hbox sees now.

@@johnkramer2144 That's definitely not true. There have been tons of really unlikable players that never got much community hate because they had more entertaining playstyles. The community's dislike for HBox has always been more colored by their hate for puff than the other way around.
