I've been a long time lurker fan of yours since the first Melee set I saw some time around 2012 - 2013 featuring you vs. Kage Thats right, my introduction to competitive Smash Bros. was Jigglypuff vs. Ganandorf And since Armada retired, you are now the only player that routinely makes incredible comebacks and stretches stocks much further than they're supposed to last Its been hard watching you receive constant criticism over every single thing you did, but i'm glad that you finally have a good footing within the Smash Bros. community, watching you stream lately has been the most fun Smash Bros. has ever been for me But I think its time to lurk again for another 7 - 8 years

I've always thought it was unfair the way the Melee community has always treated you. I think the reason the Smash 4 and Ultimate community accepted you so easily is because your playstyle where you're more camping and punish heavy is much more common in their games. I've always thought the way you get into the heads of Melee players and use the tightest of windows to net a stock is entertaining, and I always thought it was shitty of Mang0 to pedal the hate so hard towards you so hard.

I only watched hbox games around 2017, most winner finals and all I can say is until this video I thought the ResidentSleeper emote in twitch chat of all the melee fans complaining, I genuinely believed it was their way of support him because jiggly put people into sleep like in the anime. LUL and I always wanted a melee player to be successful at smash. So now that I love ultimate so much, there is no better way to enjoy than watching someone who feels the game every stream as hbox.

Even though I came for the Smash content, I stayed because of the people and for moments like these. When ZeRo started talking about your story I got intrigued, as there are many life lessons that plenty of people could learn by hearing your story inside the Smash Community and how it has reacted towards you. It's unbelievable the things I've heard about you and ZeRo, the events and "character archs" are almost what you would see in a Drama series, but instead this was real... And even though a lot has happened, your story is truly inspirational. You didn't give up even when you had to combine going through college, working full time, dealing with all the drama while still being active in the community... And now you've reached a beautiful moment in life while becoming a beautiful person, it truly is inspiring and I hope nothing but the best for you and everyone else that is going through this. You deserve it.

Hi Hbox, I discovered you on "Emplemon" youtube channel in a 1h20 documentary about you (link at the end of this comment) And to be honest, i'm not at all a smash bros player, and worse, i don't really like that game (at least as a player). But for an unknown reason i watch the whole video and ... i can't explain this mix of sympathy and wrestling kind of feeling i got. I didn't knew you before or the meta game, or tier list etc. But i watched the all thing as if i was watching WWE. And after all this, as saw you as a good villain (don't have proper english words cause i'm french) I don't know... you clearly seem to be a good guy but also seem to be the best antagonist at the same time (at least in this documentary) Anyway after i watched this you became a hero to me, in a game that i don't like and i don't play. And you are the only one in this specific scenario. And i feel bad to see movies talking about Billy Mitchell but nothing about you except videos that were randomly propose to me by youtube.... Anyway keep fighting, you desirve all the best. Really take a look at this video, (even if you already know the scenario ^^') because Emplemon did a really nice job in telling your story kzbin.info/www/bejne/mp6vhH2odpWhb9k Bon courage et bonne continuation avec Rondoudou

Hearing Hbox talk about Smash 4 with such love and fervor. It feels so nostalgic now. We complained about Smash 4 back then, but when I think back about the tourney's, the storylines, the community: it was amazing. I wonder if Smash ultimate would ever reach that state - especially with how the world is now. We really saw Smash 4 hit a crescendo and peak. Even the final moments with the 2gg championships - Mkleo taking out Zero one last time and him retiring. It was crazy. I remember him beating dabuz he was so happy cause he knew he solidified his final season as #1 in PGR. Smash 4 really ended on a sour note cause of bayo (unfortunately) but we should remember the good parts too. There were so many. Smash ultimate now is even more popular and hopefully has a long way to go. For the storylines to mature and build. We also have Smash 4 to thank for creating an entire new generation of Smash KZbinrs who rose to prominence thanks to the ease of entry compared to the previous ones. Alpharad, Nairo, Zero etc. Although to be fair, I feel ultimate is definitely boosting Hbox's channel now too thanks to Puff being stronger.

Dewster they're about different parts of hbox's career so you can't really compare them. I like them both for different reasons.

The shit you had to go through Hbox, you deserve every bit of humility and the upmost respect from everyone and more. Out of all the Melee players, you have by far the most respect from me. For the shit that NO OTHER SMASH PLAYER IN EXISTENCE HAD TO GO THROUGH, and still keeping composure and staying strong enough to not self-destruct through all the bullying and slander, and pushing yourself to still win it all in the end. That is what I call a true Champion. Bless your soul Hungrybox.

Hungrybox, I've always had a lot of respect for you as a Smash player. But over the past few months I've learned a lot more about Juan as well. And after all these crazy hype Ultimate streams...I gotta say I'm a fan!

That whiplash between Juan rehyping himself in moment to fight and immediately condoning fights is truly hilarious, he was like I was ready smash irl, but I Didn’t choose violence on that day . Love the drama
