And it just required the best freaking sonic, excelent spring usage from sonix tbh it was such an amazing set, and he even managed to punish the limit recovery i didn’t even noticed but when i rewatched it was like “WOW he punished limit?!” no matter how good spargo recovers if one of the best out stage players efficiently edgeguard you you’re screwed and sonix finally started using all that tools the spring the fair and even the backair without fear 🙌🔥

This is some of the best I've ever seen Sonix play. No time-outs, no egregious camping, just pure immaculate spacing and skill. Absolutely deserved win. This is the exact opposite of grands at Watch the Throne and you can tell that Sonix took that L personally. Man tightened up his gameplay and really focused and he crushed it.

Spargo double jumping out of disadvantage was the Achilles heel for him. As an extension of that, he was getting edge guarded far more efficiently than normal. Also spargo throwing out back airs and fairs that we’re canceling before they came out was indicative of his play. Interesting stuff.

But set 2 he should’ve started with corrin, and if it was an L then switch back. No reason to not try again in that situation.

Fair enough, but I'd argue Spargo vs Sonix is an even better rivalry, because throughout the peak of Tweek and Mkleo's rivlalry, Mkleo was the one that won the most by far. In fact, Mkleo was kind of famous for "destroying Tweek's hope of being the best in the world by always winning against him in grands finals". Basically, Leo was more Tweek's demon, than an actual rival to trade sets with. Spargo and Sonix meanwhile trade games way more often, and that makes the gap between the two players, and by extension, their rivalry, even tighter.@@inarencommander4663

High-level Sonic players: Sonix, KEN, Wrath, Taikei. They're all top 100 in the world and solo main the character(KEN has basically dropped Sephiroth). One could also mention Peli, he won a major after all, even if it's a while ago. High-level Cloud players: Sparg0 and, uh... Rizeazu and Yaura have a pocket Cloud, does that count? And then I guess you have Enhanced pv and YOC, if we're feeling generous we could say they are high-level.

@@Jonas-jx3kw KEN has been a top player since the game's release. Wrath has also been very good for a long time: for example, he got 5th at Frostbite 2020 where Tea double-eliminated him. They both benefited from the innovations made by Sonix, but they've always been doing well. I'm not aware of Taikei or Peli being trained by Sonix, but I could be wrong. Anyway, all I had to prove is that Sonic is more popular at the top level than Cloud and I did exactly that.

​@@aaronjosephs6233Corrin have no fun tech? Have you seen SHADIC play? Corrin probably has some of the craziest movement in the game with the fastest dash frame in the game. In his fight against Kola you can clearly see SHADIC utilize Corrin micro dash and end up moonwalking around the stages. Also Corrin frame traps/ledge traps are just funny. It's like a juggler juggling ball but the enemy is the ball. There's a reason why the kid never dropped Corrin for more than 5 years.

Ps2 is too easy to get camped by sonic if he doesn’t have the lead, Smashvile big platform in middle doesn’t help cloud. Town and city , to easy to die against sonic due to blast zones Small battlefield is good but smaller than fd so more of a chance to get edge guarded Kalos is banned by sonix Fd is reasonable
