Notes:
1. They have to be good quality.
Don’t confuse character with personality, gifting, and reputation!
“A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart”
(Matthew 12:35, NLT).
Christian is like salt. Our presence is not felt but its absence makes everything tasteless.
B. Best way to attract a person with great character is to start working on your own today!
Your circumstances reveal your character. Your choices make your character.
To blame your circumstances for your character is like blaming mirror for your looks.
2. They have to match.
A. Match in your gender. Every person needs a right and left shoe, every marriage needs a man and a woman.
"Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh." Genesis 2:24
B. Match in your faith. Every person needs a right and left shoe from the same shoe type, every marriage needs a man and a woman from the same faith and convictions.
A wife is bound by law as long as her husband lives; but if her husband dies, she is at liberty to be married to whom she wishes, only in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 7:39
3. They have to fit.
A. One size does not fit all. You can have someone who matches you, but they don’t fit you.
B. Like a key that goes perfectly into a lock and clicks open so God intended the romantic relationship to fit spiritually, match physically and click emotionally.
Emotional click has to follow spiritual fit and physical match.
Emotional click has to be tested with time, mentors, and peace.
“Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.” Proverbs 11:14
4. Take them to the cashier.
5. Repair, not return.
A. As a Christian, when your relationship begins to struggle, you don’t go to a courtroom but to the throne room.
B. You don’t need a new spouse to have a new marriage; you just need a new attitude and some help.

Powerful message 🙌🏾 powerful series. I will definitely be applying this in my life. I’ve heard soo many messages about relationships but never really applied it because I was blinded by what I wanted and what I thought wouldn’t last and it would be fine in the end because I’m going to end up with the person that God had made me for. So after I went to youth camp, I finally woke up and realized that this isn’t Gods will for my life. I don’t need to be in a temporary relationship whilst I wait for the relationship that He had ordained for me. I’m gonna live according to the way that He told me to live. That was a lot of talking and not a lot of scripture. Today’s western world is experiencing an ‘unplanned childlessness’ epidemic and I’m not sure it’s great to tell people to wait until everything feels perfect and you have no reservations about getting married. Some people just feel anxiety about things and that’s not always from the Holy Spirit. Vlad is a wise man, but some sometimes he gets away from Gods word and just starts preaching what sounds good
