HUNT Episode 2 - Back-to-Back Caribou Bulls in Alaska - The Experience Project

Welcome to the HUNT film series of The Experience Project. This video series will document the three Alaska hunts we completed in the fall of 2024, for caribou, moose, and mountain goat.
This second episode starts late in the afternoon of the first full hunting day, after Justin killed his bull earlier that morning (as seen in Episode 1). With a combination of aggressiveness and patience, they find success high on the mountain, making it a late night under heavy packs. After going to bed late that night, they awake to more action than anticipated. They ultimately end up with 3 big-bodied caribou on the mountain - thousands of feet above the river, and multiple miles upriver from where they left their pack rafts.

Congrats guys , way to go, I love how versatile the K4 backpack is. Load, pack and even carry a float. My favorite part is how you snug your rifle, I am wondering how much velocity you get out of the shorter barrel?

What caliber was the second bull in this video killed with? I was thinking it was not with a 6 creed.

Jeff was shooting a 7 Rem Mag I believe. I’ll have to check what bullet. His first shot was good left and right but just too low and really just caught brisket. Enough the bull didn’t really want to travel far and Jeff was able to get in position to make follow up shots and put the bull down.

I agree with Scott why do you hunt. I made a phone call to some place in Tennessee today and she had to know my birthday at the end of a 35 minute call she asked what I will be doing for my birthday I said work then come home and go deer hunting and she said oh no poor Bambi I said no not a baby deer but an adult deer for some healthy meat and to help deer management, population that's why we have hunting seasons, then she kinda got it 👍✌️🇺🇲

No, we won't be making any clothing through Exo. However, we have been helping with design and testing for some new pieces that Outdoor Vitals will be releasing. The pants, mid-layer, and puffy jacket on this hunt are all part of that.
