Hunt Proven Carbon Race UD: Superlight MTB wheels but do carbon spokes scare you?

I have a set of these and been giving them my normal levels of abuse, haven't had any issues at all, I don't hit the jumps at parks etc so it being a XC type wheel with the light weight was perfect for me. Mounted up with no issues and they ride great, can really notice the weight reduction. The Hunt warranty offers good peace of mind if anything did happen.

I have the Proven XC. Stellar value and an amazing price. I have owned several sets of Hunt wheels including a set of EMTB specific. All of them been excellent value. I am a fan of hunt wheels for sure. I would love to try a pair of them. Might be time for a super light bike build.

Just started using mountain bike wheels with carbon spokes! For cross country very nice, light weight makes them very responsive!

Ultralight XC carbon wheels with spokes being so few and carbon would probably fold under me the first turn I take. The weight and technology is quite impressive though.

Aren't Hunts new road race wheels hookless? It seems strange they see a value of a small hook in MTB wheels but not on road wheels if this is the case.
