hi, we just installed frameless sliding glass doors to our balcony . We dont have enough space to install regular shades as the doors go all the way up to the ceiling. Besides there is a guide handler(') for the doors to open... we would like to put some sort of shades but they would have to be attached individually to the glass door... any idea? thanks so much. On the duette architella where you have the sheer AND the blockout on the same shade, can this be motorized and you can have either one top down or bottom up?

Duette Duolite shade can be power view for both top sheer and bottom fabric .I hope that answers your question. Cheers-Aida

How reliable are the motorized shades, do they last a long time? Also, how loud are the motorized? Would you say cellular or roller shades are better for a modern house? Thanks!

Thank you for your question! The motorized shade are very reliable, also hunter douglas has life time warranty on most of their products. Cellular and roller shades are both the best for modern houses .I also love silhouette blinds as well .It all depends why do you need the blind in the first place ? Privacy? Heat? Do you want to see out side while the blind is down ? All those play a big roll , if you have more questions i will be more than happy answer them. All the best. Cheers-Aida

@@Styluxdesignandconstructionltd So it's water proof? My window might get damp/some rain. Also, heat in the summer. How do the batteries hold up in the heat? This is an east facing window but for some reason it gets hot which is why I want the shades. Currently I have a shade screen, but it's dark in the afternoon. The screen is not easily removed and stored as the window is large.

Hi , I am not sure what exactly do you mean by Asian inspired blind .blinds mainly get chosen based on their function how ever with some like roller shade or roman shade there are some traditional patterns you could choose that will give you what you are after. The blinds can operate with both battery or DC power , if you have a chance to bring the power for your blind do so .if not you can always get the blind with the battery and the batteries last for a long time so both ways will work. I have palm beach shutters installed a year ago and they sag. Although I know it's not going to be any different, I went along with what Hunter Douglas recommended me to do, which is to have 2 panels replaced. Before the installers put the new ones in, I took a straight edge, or ruler and showed them the sag. Since they are just installers and don't deal with the manufacturer, I had the 2 new panels installed. It's the product that's the problem. It does NOT work. The warranty says it does not warp or deform, but they do. They are of inferior material. Hunter douglas' claim of their product being durable is false. It is a cheap product. Still, I paid a lot of money to get it, and now Hunter Douglas won't even work with me. I will continue to write about this, no matter how long it takes, so no one else will get this inferior product.

Thank you for making this video. HD has very little on their product and to be honest that puts me off from using them. One of my first concerns is that I live in a historical district and the outside of whatever I use must be white. Is this a possibility?

Thank you for your comment. Yes absolutely is possible. There is a line from HD called duette and doesn't matter what color you choose the out side of it is white .check it out .
