Hunter I did the same thing when I was a kid, I'd always pick the thing in the back because I felt like it needed it the most. Hey hunter, I don’t think your a bad man. You’re not alone with your weird intrests and thoughts (I also have those autistic thoughts about the soda cans) and I also have those thoughts that make me feel like I could be a narcissist psychopath. Personally, I have those things because of low empathy from autism. I don’t know what you are dealing with but you’re not alone and you’re not “weird”. We love ya bud. Keep up the good work animating. You’re a funny guy and me and my best friend (who just bought your cards, we’re so excited) are always behind you.

Hunter, I have never before heard someone else relate to my personifying of inanimate objects. I remember dropping a brownie on the ground as a child and imagining the brownie being sad because he had not fulfilled his purpose of being eaten, and on the verge of tears I scooped it up and still ate it. With this being an established similarity between our personalities, I should also have you know that I too am an incurable narcissist, with deep seated anger issues, a harbinger of chaos wherever I go, whether it be absurdist and suicidal humor or flying into a rage on the job site breaking everything in my sight (I work construction). Though I have sympathy for the emotional well being of an old worn-out game controller being swapped for a new one, I regularly restrain myself from applying my reciprocating saw to the necks of my flesh-and-blood coworkers. This absurd dichotomy of deep empathy and violent rage is something that should not be understood, but rather cultivated. Though I can offer you no comfort in your confusion, I offer comraderie, and a message that you are not alone in your autistic care of the marginalized inanimate beings of our world. Hope this helps.

I’ve had a recurring nightmare that really reminds me of Noel’s horror idea - usually it’s set in something like an unrealistically massive hotel or school but like very labyrinthine, sometimes just a maze, and there’s something spooky after me. It’s generally something very very fast and even though it starts far from me, it has like a general idea of where I am in the maze but not a direct idea of how to get to where I am. I get out of body snapshots and snippets of where it is and how quickly it’s moving through trying to find me while I try and navigate away, and it freaks me the fuck out knowing that like even though in the grand scheme of the maze it’s moving slowly to get to me, it’s actually moving very fast and would catch me easily if it actually caught up to me
